The Nexus 7 (2013) Possibly Heading to Verizon

No bloatware?

The credible Twitter account @evleaks posted a picture of Google’s 2013 Nexus 7 with the hashtag “VZW.” This indicates that the LTE version of the tablet is most likely heading to Verizon. Details are sparse, including that of a release date.

Google and Verizon’s past issues have been a barrier on consumers. Verizon has insisted on adding “bloatware” which Galaxy Nexus users complained that it ruined the pure Android, Nexus experience. The Nexus 4 and the Nexus 5 are the proceeding phones in the brand that never saw the light of day on Verizon.

HOW WILL THIS AFFECT THE ‘ELLIPSIS FAMILY?’

Back in November, Verizon announced its own 7-inch Android tablet. The device is the first in Verizon’s Ellipsis Family. The device is considerably inferior in terms of specs, especially compared to the Nexus 7 (2013), but oddly 30 dollars more expensive.
