‘Bates Motel’ gets post show on A&E
No Chris Hardwick this time.
A&E’s Bates Motel will be getting an accompanying live post show, something in the vein AMC’s Talking Dead and Talking Bad. The half program titled Bates Motel: After Hours will premiere on Monday, March 3 at 11pm ET/PT following the series premiere of A&E’s latest scripted drama, Those Who Kill at 10pm ET/PT.
The half-hour special will feature stars Vera Farmiga, Freddie Highmore and Max Thieriot (with no Chris Hardwick in sight). These post shows are becoming very popular and are another way for networks to boost ratings and ad revenue as loyal fans will tune in. The A&E “night of premieres” kicks off with Bates Motel Monday 9pm ET/PT.
