Ink Tank #3: Worst Summer Cinema

Prepare for Michael Bay films.

This week in the Ink Tank, Max and Alex discuss their picks for the worst films of the the summer, including those involving Turtles, Spiders, and exploding robots.

Hey again, true believers! Since we covered the summer films we loved last week, we decided to flip things around and take a look at the summer films we hated. As always, regrettably, there was no shortage of movies like that this summer. If you were subjected to our yearly dose of explosions, courtesy of Dr. Michael Bay, you know what we’re talking about. Plus, we cover some neat news and continue the great debate of the King of Monster movies, Godzilla. Later this week, we’ll be looking to the future and discussing some stuff we’re super psyched for. (Hint: One starts with “Avengers” and ends with “Ultron”)

Recommended reading for this week: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Vol. 1: Change is a Constant by Tom Waltz & Kevin Eastman with art by Dan Duncan.

So, which summer film disappointed you most? Do you think ‘The Amazing Spider-Man 2’ deserved better? Are you so psyched for a ‘Deadpool’ movie that you have the mention it somewhere? Leave your respectful missives in the letters column below.
