‘Sharknado 3’ Is Happening

‘Sharknado 3’ is official… and taking on the “Feast Coast.”

Sharknado 3 has been announced via the Sharknado Twitter account. This time the “so bad, it’s good” franchise will unleash a swarm of teeth and B-list actors on the East Coast. Little is known about the next installment in the cult franchise other than it will range from Washington D.C, all the way down to Orlando, Fla.

It is also unknown if Syfy will be having another Facebook contest to decide on the movie’s title. The last contest gave birth to the cleverly titled Sharknado 2: The Second One. The second entry set a ratings record for Syfy original movies when it premiered last July, nearly tripling its viewership with an impressive 3.9 million viewers.

Sharknado 3 is dated for Summer 2015.
