Morena Baccarin is Coming to ‘Gotham’

Morena Baccarin has been cast as Dr. Leslie Thompkins in Fox’s ‘Gotham.’

Emmy nominated actress Morena Baccarin (Firefly, Homeland) will play Dr. Leslie Thompkins according to The Wrap. On Gotham, Baccarin’s character will be close to danger as she is a staple in the Arkham Asylum.

The former Homeland star is going to make a great addition to the cast going forward. Her recurring role as the Doctor will span the remainder of Season 1. The same applies for Season 2, should the series be renewed.

Renewal is likely seeing as Fox recently ordered a full season of the show. Ratings have also be strong, averaging 3.9 million per week.
