THE FLASH

Flash Piece: That ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’ Teaser!

After the teaser for Avengers: Age of Ultron leaked, Marvel released the trailer, and boy is it beautiful.

Marvel

“I HAD STRINGS, BUT NOW I’M FREE.”

The teaser kicks off with the highly anticipated debut of James Spader’s (The Blacklist) voice as the title villain, Ultron, and he absolutely nails it. It’s the perfect mix any fan could ask for, combining vocals that are eerie, robotic, and calm yet chaotic.

We also see a bit of a manic looking Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner. There are two shots initially: one of him in the Quinjet with other Avengers and one of him in the woods all on his own. This all makes me think there’s more than likely going to be a falling out between the Hulk and the rest of the team. Proving this is the shot of Iron Man suiting up in the Hulkbuster exoskeleton as he faces off against the Green Goliath in a downtown street.

The last two shots shown within this teaser are perhaps the biggest ones, though. We first see Captain America’s shield broken in two. The second is of Ultron, seemingly in his final form as he uncannily says, “There are no strings on me.”

If you’re able to gauge the slightest idea of success off the early reception of this first trailer, then this is sure to be yet another hit for Marvel.

Avengers: Age of Ultron hits theaters May 1, 2015.
