FX is Getting into ‘Taboo’
Hardy and Knight, together again…
In an attempt to add to their repertoire, FX has sealed up the domestic rights to air the new series Taboo from Tom Hardy, Ridley Scott and Steven Knight in 2016.
The series is set in 1813 and is focused around James Keziah Delaney (played by Hardy) as he arrives back to the UK with crooked diamonds and the ambition of starting his own trade company to avenge his father’s death.
Shooting will begin early 2015 and will be the second collaboration for Hardy and Knight, having previously worked together on Locke, which starred Hardy and was written and directed by Knight. Produced by Ridley Scott and his company Scott Free, be sure to keep an eye on this series going forward, especially with so many big names attached to it this early on.
As always, be sure to follow YouNerded for more news.
With “Sons of Anarchy” and “Justified” on their way out the door, does this have the potential to fill the void for FX? Let us know how you feel in the comments below!
