In a special live event from Pinewood Studios — the place where nearly every Bond film has been shot —  director Sam Mendes and producer Barbara Broccoli made some major announcements regarding the beloved spy-film franchise, including the official title, Spectre.

The returning cast, made up of Daniel Craig, Ralph Fiennes, Ben Whishaw, Naomie Harris and Rory Kinnear, made an appearance at the event today with fellow franchise newcomers. Andrew Scott, Dave Bautista, Monica Bellucci and Léa Seydoux will all be joining the already spectacular cast. The biggest casting announcement from the conference was the confirmation that Christoph Waltz would indeed be playing the next villain across from Craig. Although not yet official, it’s hard to imagine Waltz won’t be playing Ernst Stavro Blofeld, considering the film’s title is an acronym used by the global terrorist organization led by him.

Mendes also took the time to unveil the newest Bond vehicle that will be featured in Spectre, an Aston Martin DB10. He also confirmed that principal was starting this coming Monday, with the cast now in the middle of rehearsals. On-location shooting spots were revealed to be set in Mexico City, Rome, Tangiers, the Alps and more. Spectre is also set to bring on Interstellar editor and cinematographer, Lee Smith and Hoyte Van Hoytema, respectively.

The final piece of news from the event came in a short video that showed off the films new title, decorated with bullet-shattered glass in the shape of SPECTRE’s symbol, an octopus

As of now, you can expect to see Bond and co. sneaking into theaters come Oct. 23, 2015 in the UK, and Nov. 6, 2015 in the US.

What do you guys think of Waltz, and will he make a good villain again? What you think of the new title? Sound off in the comments below.
