‘Silicon Valley’ Season 2 Premiering on Twitch
It’s not Twitch.TV, it’s HBO.
HBO is continuing its growing trend of making itself more available than ever across a wide variety of platforms and services. The Verge is reporting that on Wednesday, April 8, HBO will be streaming the first episode of Silicon Valley via Twitch. For those unfamiliar, Twitch is the largest video game streaming platform on the web, and was acquired by Amazon last August for nearly $1 billion.
In addition to the premiere, the cast will be hosting a live chat Q&A session as well as streaming some gameplay of their own. Though they are yet to confirm who will be appearing on the stream, the series was originally created by Mike Judge (Beavis and Butthead, Office Space) and stars Thomas Middleditch, TJ Miller, Martin Starr and Kumail Nanjiani.
If you miss HBO’s stream on Twitch, you can always catch the televised premiere on April 12 on its original home.
